About USEED@Princeton

USEED@Princeton is a powerful tool for fueling initiatives through crowd-sourced philanthropic giving called "crowdfunding".  Through crowdfunding, you can partner with us on a number of projects. Then share this info with your friends, family, and colleagues. Together, we can provide a dynamic learning environment and embrace community involvement as a fundamental foundation of our mission.

Your gift will go directly to the program overseeing the project, who will then fund the project with your gift. Please read the FAQs below to learn more about funding policies.

Continue to help each project you support by sharing it with your friends and family on social networks. This helps increase the project's chances of successfully raising its goal.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

All funds received will be deposited with and distributed through Princeton University, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your payment may be considered a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser regarding the deductibility of charitable contributions.

Where is my donation going?

Your donation will be deposited with Princeton University and distributed to lab, program or department leading your selected project. Gifts are subject to the Universities policies.

What happens if a campaign doesn’t meet its funding goal?

If a project does not meet its funding goal, collected funds will be used either to partially support the current project or other initiatives within the program.

What happens if a campaign is overfunded?

If a project exceeds its funding goal, additional project funds beyond the stated goal amount may be used toward the project. Any funds available after the project ends may be used to benefit other projects within the program.
